🌸 आपुलकी चा कट्टा Club Guidelines & Community Rules आपुलकी चा कट्टा is a community created to bring people together through friendship, conversations, cultural connections, meetups, celebrations and shared experiences. Our objective is simple: to create a safe, welcoming, respectful, inclusive and enjoyable environment where everyone feels comfortable participating and connecting with others. These guidelines are applicable to all members, hosts, organizers and participants, both online and during physical meetups. --- 1. 🤝 Respect Every Member Every member deserves to be treated with respect, kindness and dignity. Respect differences in age, profession, personality, opinions, background, lifestyle and personal choices. Friendly jokes and fun are welcome, but they should never make another person uncomfortable, embarrassed or targeted. Bullying, harassment, discrimination, humiliation, intimidation or deliberately isolating another member will not be tolerated. Personal disagreements should be handled maturely and should not affect the overall community environment. Do not judge or make assumptions about another member based on limited interaction. --- 2. 🎉 Anyone Can Host a Meetup Any active member can propose or host a meetup. The proposed meetup should be discussed with the Admin/Organizer team before being finalized or publicly announced. Depending on the type of meetup, a minimum number of interested participants may be required. The host should clearly communicate the date, time, venue, participation fee, activity details and any specific requirements. Hosts are expected to make reasonable arrangements and communicate any changes to participants as early as possible. Members who volunteer to host are contributing their time and effort to the community and should be supported accordingly. --- 3. ❤️ Respect the Host The host's time, effort and arrangements must always be respected. Participants should cooperate with the host during the meetup. Follow reasonable instructions related to food, activities, seating, venue usage, timing and cleanup. Do not unnecessarily criticize, pressure or argue with the host during an event. If you have a genuine concern, communicate it politely and, where appropriate, involve the Admin/Organizer team. Do not expect the host to personally manage every individual requirement. If you have committed to helping the host, please fulfil your responsibility. At the end of the event, participants are encouraged to help with basic cleanup and closing activities. Remember that hosting is a voluntary contribution to the community. A good meetup is a shared responsibility, not only the host's responsibility. --- 4. 🏠 Respect the Venue The venue represents not only the host but also the entire आपुलकी चा कट्टा community. Treat the venue, furniture, equipment and other property with care. Do not damage, misuse, move or operate venue equipment without permission. Follow all venue-specific rules and instructions. Do not enter restricted areas. Keep food and drinks in designated areas wherever applicable. Use dustbins and maintain cleanliness. Do not leave food, disposable items, bottles or other waste behind. Participants should clean their own seating/food area after use. Avoid excessive noise or behaviour that may disturb other people at the venue. Any damage caused intentionally or through negligence may need to be compensated by the responsible person. If you notice accidental damage, inform the host or Admin immediately rather than ignoring it. Please leave the venue in the same condition, or better, than how we found it. --- 5. ⏰ Respect Time & Be Punctual Members are requested to arrive on time. Hosts should make reasonable efforts to start the event at the announced time. Repeated late arrivals should not unnecessarily delay the entire group. If you know you are going to be late, inform the host whenever possible. Respect the announced closing time of the event, especially when the venue has a fixed booking period. Participants should cooperate with the host during the final wrap-up. Your five minutes of delay can sometimes become thirty minutes for everyone. Let's respect each other's time. 😊 --- 6. 🍽️ Food & Potluck Etiquette For food-based events and potlucks: Bring the food/item you have committed to bringing. Inform the host in advance if you are unable to bring your committed item. Take reasonable portions and allow everyone an opportunity to enjoy the food. Avoid unnecessary food wastage. Respect vegetarian, non-vegetarian, dietary and personal food preferences. Do not make inappropriate comments about another person's food choices. Maintain basic hygiene while serving and handling food. Use serving spoons or utensils where provided. Keep food and eating areas clean. Participants should help with basic cleanup after meals. The purpose of a potluck is sharing, not competition. ❤️ --- 7. 💬 Respectful Communication All communication within the community should remain respectful and appropriate. The following are not acceptable: Abusive or insulting language directed at members. Threatening messages. Personal attacks. Harassment or intimidation. Sexually inappropriate comments or messages. Discriminatory remarks. Repeatedly targeting a particular member. Publicly humiliating another member. Deliberately provoking arguments or conflicts. Healthy disagreement is acceptable. Disrespect is not. If a discussion becomes uncomfortable or personal, members are encouraged to stop the conversation and approach the Admin team privately. --- 8. 🚫 No Unwanted Personal Messages Every member has the right to personal boundaries. Do not send repeated unwanted personal, romantic, suggestive or inappropriate messages to another member. Do not pressure someone to share their phone number, social media profile, personal information or photographs. Do not continue messaging someone after they have clearly indicated that they are uncomfortable or do not wish to continue the conversation. Avoid using overly personal nicknames such as "Baby", "Shona", "Raju", "Kaju", etc., unless the person is genuinely comfortable with it. Do not use the community or meetup as an opportunity to repeatedly approach or pursue another member. If a member reports repeated unwanted communication, the Admin team may review the matter and take appropriate action. Respect someone's "No", silence or discomfort. --- 9. 📸 Photos, Videos & Social Media Meetups are meant to create memories, but members should also respect personal privacy. Be mindful when taking photographs and videos during meetups. Avoid intentionally recording a member who has asked not to be photographed or recorded. Do not use another member's photograph or video in a misleading, inappropriate or offensive manner. Do not edit or circulate someone's image in a way that could embarrass or harm them. When posting meetup photographs publicly, be considerate of members who may not wish to appear on social media. Do not share private conversations, screenshots or personal information outside the community without appropriate consent. --- 10. 💰 Event Payments & Contributions For paid events: Participation fees and contribution amounts should be clearly communicated before registration. Members should make payments within the specified timeline. Once venue, food or other arrangements are confirmed, cancellations and refunds will be subject to the specific event policy. Do not pressure another member regarding their spending decisions. Hosts and organizers should maintain transparency regarding event-related contributions. Any additional contribution requested from participants should be communicated clearly in advance wherever possible. --- 11. 📢 No Unauthorised Promotion or Spam The community is primarily for social connection and community activities.
