Agreement and scope
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and NextGen CommunitieVerse Private Limited (“Communitie”, “we”, “us” or “our”). They apply when you access or use communitie.in, events.communitie.in, our mobile applications, booking and payment flows, official community channels and any related products or services that link to these Terms (together, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, registering for an experience or purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, the event-specific terms shown before purchase, and any policies expressly incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Order of terms. If an event listing contains specific rules about entry, age, transfers, cancellations or refunds, those event-specific rules apply to that booking. These Terms continue to apply to everything else.
02 / Your account
Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract under applicable law. Purchases must be made by a person who is at least 18 years old. A parent or legal guardian may purchase for a minor where the event allows minors and remains responsible for the minor’s participation. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep your mobile number, email address and profile details up to date. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for protecting one-time passwords, ticket QR codes and other account credentials. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You may not create accounts using another person’s identity, sell or transfer an account, evade a suspension, or use automated means to create or operate accounts.
03 / The platform
Our role
Communitie helps people discover, register for and book experiences offered by clubs, hosts, venues, promoters and other organisers (“Organisers”). Unless an experience is clearly identified as organised by Communitie, the Organiser—not Communitie—is responsible for producing and delivering the experience, the venue, content, schedule, safety measures and on-ground fulfilment.
For some “Communitie Original” experiences, we may also act as the Organiser. The listing or confirmation will identify the relevant host. We may facilitate listings, ticketing, communications, check-in, payment collection, refunds and customer support without becoming the Organiser of every listed experience.
Event descriptions, images, restrictions and availability may be supplied by Organisers. We take reasonable steps to present them accurately, but Organisers remain responsible for the information they provide.
04 / Your order
Bookings and tickets
A booking is confirmed only after the applicable payment is successfully processed and we issue a booking confirmation or ticket. Adding tickets to a cart, starting payment or receiving a bank debit alert does not by itself guarantee a booking.
Availability, ticket limits, schedules and prices may change until a booking is confirmed.
You must check the event, date, time, venue, ticket category, quantity and attendee details before paying.
Tickets may be personal, non-transferable or subject to identity checks when the listing says so.
Do not share a live QR code or booking credential publicly. The first valid scan may be treated as redemption.
A confirmation may be delivered in the app, on the web, or through email, SMS, WhatsApp or push notification.
Note : If you do not receive confirmation but your account was charged, contact us with the payment reference. We will verify the transaction; a bank debit alone is not proof of admission.
05 / Charges
Pricing, fees and payments
The total payable amount and available payment methods are shown before you authorise payment. The total may include the ticket or registration price, applicable taxes, convenience or platform fees, and optional add-ons. Prices are displayed in Indian rupees unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed through authorised third-party payment providers. You represent that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and that the billing information you provide is accurate. Communitie does not store your complete card, UPI PIN or banking credentials. A payment may be declined, delayed or reversed by your bank or payment provider. We may cancel duplicate, fraudulent, technically incorrect or unlawfully priced transactions and will process any amount due back in accordance with applicable law and the relevant payment rails.
06 / Plans change
Cancellations, refunds and rescheduling
The cancellation and refund terms shown on the event listing or checkout apply to that booking. Unless the listing expressly permits cancellation, attendee-requested cancellations, no-shows and late arrivals may be non-refundable and may not be carried forward. If an experience is cancelled : If Communitie or an Organiser cancels an experience, we will notify affected attendees and facilitate the refund or remedy communicated for that event. Refundable components may exclude fees expressly identified as non-refundable where permitted by law. A refund is ordinarily returned to the original payment method and may take additional time to appear after we initiate it. If an experience is rescheduled or materially changed : Your booking may remain valid for the revised schedule. Where the Organiser permits a refund or alternative, we will communicate the available options and any response deadline. Changes to supporting acts, speakers, activities, seating layout or running order are not necessarily a cancellation if the core experience proceeds. Statutory consumer rights continue to apply and are not limited by this section.
07 / At the venue
Attendance, safety and conduct
You must comply with reasonable directions from the Organiser, venue staff and safety personnel, along with the venue’s entry, security, age, identification, dress, prohibited-item, photography and accessibility rules.
Entry may be refused, or you may be removed without refund, where reasonably necessary because you:
arrive after the permitted entry window or cannot present a valid ticket or required identification;
are intoxicated, under the influence of unlawful substances, violent, threatening, abusive or disruptive;
create a safety risk, damage property, harass another person or ignore lawful venue directions; or
attempt unauthorised recording, commercial activity, ticket resale or access to restricted areas.
Note : You are responsible for assessing whether an experience is suitable for your health, mobility, age and circumstances. Contact us or the Organiser before booking if you need an accessibility accommodation.
08 / What you share
Your content and feedback
You retain ownership of content you submit, including profile images, reviews, comments, event submissions and feedback (“Your Content”). You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit it and that it is accurate, lawful and does not violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights. You grant Communitie a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt and display Your Content only as reasonably needed to operate, promote and improve the Services, subject to your privacy choices and applicable law. This licence ends when Your Content is deleted from active systems, except where retention is legally required or content has been shared by others. We may remove or limit content that violates these Terms, creates risk, or is the subject of a credible legal complaint. Feedback and product suggestions may be used without restriction or compensation, but we will not publicly identify you without permission.
09 / Community standards
Acceptable use
You must not use the Services to:
break the law, facilitate harm, mislead others or infringe any person’s rights;
harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate against or expose another person’s private information;
upload malware, probe security, bypass access controls, scrape at scale, or interfere with the Services;
impersonate Communitie, an Organiser or another user, or create false reviews, bookings or payment claims;
resell, counterfeit, duplicate or commercially exploit tickets without written permission;
use bots or other automated methods to reserve inventory, create artificial demand or overwhelm the Services; or
send spam, unauthorised promotions or irrelevant content through community features.
Note : You may responsibly report a security vulnerability to communitie.hyd@gmail.com. Do not exploit, publicly disclose or access data beyond what is necessary to demonstrate the issue.
10 / Ownership
Intellectual property
The Services, including their software, interface, visual design, brand elements, text, graphics and compilation, are owned by or licensed to Communitie and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Organiser names, artwork and event materials belong to their respective owners. We give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Services for personal, lawful purposes. No other right is granted. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer or create derivative works from the Services except where the law expressly permits it. To report suspected copyright or trademark infringement, email us with your contact details, the protected work, the material at issue, its location and a statement explaining your good-faith claim.
11/ Other services
Third-party services and links
The Services may integrate with payment gateways, maps, authentication providers, messaging services, social platforms, app stores and Organiser or venue systems. Their separate terms and privacy practices may apply when you use them. We are not responsible for independent third-party sites or services that we do not control. A link or integration does not imply endorsement. Review the relevant third party’s terms before providing information or completing a transaction with it.
12 / Staying in touch
Service and marketing communications
We may send booking confirmations, payment updates, reminders, schedule changes, safety notices, account alerts and policy notices through the contact details and device channels associated with your account. These transactional communications are part of the Services. Where permitted, we may also send recommendations, offers or community updates. You can manage optional marketing through the available settings or unsubscribe mechanism. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential transactional or legal messages.
13 / Service limits
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that every listing will remain available, that the Services will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every Organiser, attendee or third party will perform as expected. Experiences involve inherent risks, including travel, crowds, food, physical activity and interaction with third parties. Communitie does not assume risks that properly belong to an Organiser, venue or participant. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, guarantee or duty that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14 / Limitation of liability
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Communitie and its directors, employees and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, opportunity, goodwill or data, arising from your use of the Services. Where liability cannot be excluded, Communitie’s aggregate liability relating to a booking will not exceed the amount you paid to Communitie for that booking, except where a different limit is required by law. These limits do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Your consumer rights remain intact. Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer-protection law.
15 / Claims
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate Communitie and its personnel for third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, material breach of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights, or Your Content. We will give you reasonable notice of a covered claim and retain control of its defence and settlement.
16 / Access
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time and may request account deletion through the available account controls or by contacting us. Existing bookings, payment obligations and terms intended to survive will continue as applicable. We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the Services, investigate fraud or abuse, comply with law, respond to a material breach, or address security risk. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal.
17 / Resolving issues
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern promptly. Subject to rights and forums that cannot lawfully be excluded—including applicable consumer forums—any dispute not resolved informally may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration will be conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by the parties, in English, with Hyderabad, Telangana as the seat and venue. Courts at Hyderabad will have jurisdiction over matters not subject to arbitration and applications connected with the arbitration. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited only to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining Terms will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a restructuring, merger, acquisition or transfer of the Services.
18 / Updates
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Services, business practices, law or security requirements. We will post the revised version and update the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required. Changes do not retroactively alter the event-specific commercial terms of a confirmed booking unless the law requires it or you agree.
