Respect every speaker's vulnerability, listen with genuine empathy, and offer feedback that builds people up rather than tearing them down. 3. Show Up & Step Up Growth requires presence. Whether you are grabbing the mic for a raw conversation, an open mic, or a speaking challenge, put yourself out there. If you're nervous, that just means you're in the right place. 4. Be an Active Listener A thriving community needs great speakers, but it relies just as much on engaged listeners. Give the person on stage your full attention, energy, and encouragement. 5.
