About the Experience

Join us this Saturday for a BookTalk session built around East of Eden by John Steinbeck.

11:00 AM: Book of the Month Discussion

We start with the first half devoted to East of Eden, Steinbeck’s sweeping saga of two families in California’s Salinas Valley. Expect conversation on good and evil, inheritance, free will, and the word everyone keeps arguing about: timshel. Bring your favourite passage, or your hot takes and theories.

Second half: Regular BookTalk

After the discussion, we move into our usual free-form weekly BookTalk. Talk about whatever you’re reading, bring recommendations, and meet fellow readers.

Date: Saturday, 17th October

Time: 11:00 AM

Venue: Bahrisons Bookstore, Jubilee Hills Rd no 27 (close to Madhapur Metro Station)

Open to all. Spots are limited, so register in advance to guarantee your seat.
