About the Experience

Join us this Saturday for BookTalk, with a Halloween-weekend discussion of The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.

11:00 AM: Regular BookTalk

We start with our usual free-form weekly BookTalk. Talk about whatever you’re reading, bring recommendations, and meet fellow readers.

Second half: Book of the Month Discussion

We then move into The Picture of Dorian Gray: a young man whose portrait ages while he stays untouched, and what that costs him. Expect conversation on beauty, vanity, influence , morality, and Wilde’s endlessly quotable wit. Bring your favourite line, or your verdict on whether Dorian ever had a chance.

Date: Saturday, 31st October (yes, it’s Halloween)

Time: 11:00 AM

Venue: Bahrisons Bookstore, Jubilee Hills Rd no 27 (close to Madhapur Metro Station)

Open to all. Spots are limited, so register in advance to guarantee your seat.
